How to make your skin look great without exposure to harmful UV

It is often when the invitation to a wedding or other important function drops on the mat that you have a long stare in the mirror and shy away with horror. Who is that pasty-faced person staring at me, and how come they have no colour on the face? There isn’t a problem with having pale skin, we can’t all be the perfect English rose.

So what are the alternatives to consider that will improve your skin care, and give you that ‘just returned from a holiday look?

Exercise

The ideal way to achieve that look of skin perfection, is to start an exercise programme or intensify an existing one. Exercise routines have never been known to hurt anyone, and indeed can contribute to the well being of the skin. Exercise aside, water is the most important feature and needs to be replenished as a result of the loss through hard work. Water is the single most important mineral that the body needs for the production of healthy skin cells. Consume as much water as possible, and you will see the positive results!

Fake tan

Above I have mentioned natural ways to improve the quality and appearance of your skin, which should be in place to underpin the next step of the process. Unless your holiday dates fall perfectly close to the great event, then it will not be possible to have that sunned look without the dreaded exposure on a sunbed. This may well be a reasonable route to take, but it has to be used with caution because of the harmful UV rays.

Perhaps the best route to take is the use of the Sun laboratories technique, which is one of the best spray tanning systems on the market. The quality of the finish is first class, lasting for days and displaying a smooth finish. This is best used with a quality moisturiser like Elemis, which has an anti-ageing property and is created from natural products.
